Very good tasting food! Saw some reviews about bad customer service, but I had no problems in that regard

The most delicious of grilled ox tongueOne piece is very big. Order 6 pieces. Sitting and eating for almost half an hour.The rice in this restaurant is white. Barley is delicious. Hot and grilled tongue is good.

There are many chain beef tongue shops in Sendai. I didn't go there, so I went to a more historic shop to try.This one is order-based, which is charcoal-burning. It is full of fragrant meat, without excessive seasoning, it is pure meaty. I like it very much. The beef tongue is very elastic and chewy, which is my favorite taste, and the price is closer to the people than the chain.

This place is one of really great beef tongue restaurants.

Fantastic place to try the local specialty of beef tounge. They also make a wonderful ox tail soup which is also worth trying. Definitely suggest coming here. The staff didn't speak much english but that disnt even matter. Would visit again.

Amazing grilled beef tongue shop, it's a must go in Sendai! Heard it is the oldest shop to serve beef tounge in Sendai. A set comes with rice, several pieces of grilled beef tongue, some pickled vegetables and a beef tail soup. Very reasonable price, amazing taste!

Great Beef tongue ! nice experience for the first time. They have also traditional seats and tables.. not that cheap though.. 1800 y about for set with rice bowl, 5pices of beef, onion soup..

From the conclusion, it was delicious. It may be true that the saltiness is a little strong, but it's not too much to worry about.You can eat from 1700 yenI have soup, and I have enough soup, so I'm satisfied.

First time trying beef tongue. It was delicious! Very well cooked, tender and smoky pieces of meat sizzled over hot coals. These guys are masters of the game. Don't miss out on the oxtail soup as it's a tasty accompaniment to the dish. No English menu however the service staff and I were able to get the order through with minimum of fuss. If your looking for a first time tongue experience in Sendai, this could be your place.

I have tried many Gyotan in Sendai in which they are all good. But I would say Umami Tasuke is the best of them. The beef tongue is cooked with salt and served with pickles and Japanese barley rice and soup (seems to be the standard set combination here in Sendai). The meats are both bouncy and chewy. If I come back to Sendai again, I come and eat multiple times.

Plain, simple, and perfect to its root of cooking beef tongue. Must try. Only regard is no sauce or anything to eat with it/them

I was able to eat delicious beef tongue that is simple but thick and tender.Isn't there only four? I think so, but one piece was full and satisfying to eat, so it was a satisfactory amount.The menu was limited and the craftsmen were baking it all the time so the rotation was quick.

Good Gyutan and soup and service is very fast. But is very cramp, we had to sit in the middle of a long table. Price is a bit more expensive than the usual gyutan set in other places.The consistency of the tongue isn’t always there some are hard as *ck and some are juicy and soft. I would rate this a 3.5 stars if I could. Their ox tail soup is really worth it though. Has a lot of meat compared to other places.Worth going into once.
